Owosso Soccer Fought Hard Against a Strong Goodrich Side

GOODRICH HIGH SCHOOL: 6
Although Owosso fell 0-6 to Goodrich, our keeper, fullbacks, and center mids played an aggressive game. Goodrich took 56 shots and 20 corners, but most were contested. Lily Usher made 35 saves, while all defenders stepped up, tonight. The back line of Klaver, Drake, Harris, and Savage, helped keep Goodrich to 2 goals as the team approached the 60-minute mark. Owosso's physical play kept the team in the game as their opponent continued to take contested shots. Owosso looks forward to completing a 3-game week with tomorrow's opponent, Waverly.
