KEARSLEY HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Owosso Soccer fell to Kearsley, 0-3. Our opponent dominated the majority of the attack. During the first half, our team showed offensive promise as our forwards battled with the Kearsley back line. The second half was a different story, as our opponent made consistent runs up the sideline and into the box. The top of the box was wide open during most of the second half. Our team showed some promising moments, but appeared quite fatigued in the final 30 minutes. Ainsley Lintner and Onaleigh McVay were consistently filling open spaces, battling for the ball. Keeper Izzy Jameson made an impressive 16 saves, while also making numerous other stops off the line. She played a solid, aggressive game.
