Owosso Boys Swim and Dive traveled to Mason on Saturday to compete in the Mason Invitational against 6 other teams.  Owosso took 6th on the day by scoring 262 points and beating Ionia with 210 points.  The winner was Mason High School with 620 points, Jackson took 2nd with 557 points, Eaton Rapids 3rd with 433 points, Ovid-Elsie 4th with 321 points and Charlotte 5th with 295 points.  Owosso boys saw very good time drops and set many personal best records.

Scoring the most points for Owosso were:   Corey Gates and Hunter Babcock in the diving events, Alex Binger who took 5th in the 100 Freestyle, the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Isaac DeWees, Avery Fear, Corey Gates and John Kulhanek took 1st in the "New Swimmer Relay", the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Nathan Gute, Brennan Baran, Jacob Hall and Alex Binger took 4th in the "Returning Swimmer Relay and the 8x50 Freestyle Relay team of Connor Bartlett, Liam McGraw, Evan Livingston, Ian Klein, Hunter Babcock, Isaac DeWeese, Avery Fear and Bryan Hathaway took 6th.

Owosso will be idle in competition from now until after the New Year.
