Owosso Boys Swim Team Caps Undefeated Season

In a dazzling display of skill and teamwork, the Owosso swim team concluded their undefeated dual meet season with a resounding triumph over Corunna, securing a final score of 108 to 76. The night was a testament to the unwavering commitment and camaraderie that has defined this exceptional group of athletes. I could not be prouder of this group of kids! They work hard and push each other to improve.

The evening kicked off with a spectacular performance by the 200 Medley Relay Team, consisting of Tyler Jurhs, Matthew Shattuck, Peyton Dwyer, and Simon Erfourth, claiming first place tie with Corunna’s A relay team.  Blake Binger showcased his  impressive victories in both the 200 Free and 500 Free events, contributing significantly to the team's success.

Aiden DeFrenn stepped up in the 50 Free, securing another first-place finish, while Nick Nidiffer dominated the 100 Free, adding crucial points to Owosso's tally. The 200 Free Relay Team, comprised of Aiden DeFrenn, Nick Nidiffer, Peyton Dwyer, and Blake Binger, continued the winning streak, displaying exceptional coordination and speed.

The 400 Free Relay Team, anchored by Nick Nidiffer, Tyler Jurhs, Aiden DeFrenn, and Blake Binger, closed the meet with yet another first-place finish, highlighting the team's dominance.

The evening also saw outstanding second-place finishes from Nick Nidiffer, Charlie Nolph, Robert Terry, Ryan Dahl, Simon Erfourth, Tyler Jurhs, and Matthew Shattuck, showcasing the depth and talent that runs throughout the Owosso swim team.
