Owosso High School Swim Team Triumphs Against Brandon/Goodrich tonight (100-84)

In a thrilling meet the Owosso High School swim team soared to victory against Brandon/Goodrich with a final score of 100-84. The resounding success was a testament to the unwavering dedication and skill of each team member.

1st Place Finishes:

The 400 Free Relay team of Nick Nidiffer, Peyton Dwyer, Tyler Jurhs, and Blake Binger, showcased impeccable teamwork. Individually, Blake Binger emerged as a double champion, claiming victory in both the 200 Freestyle and the grueling 500 Freestyle events. Ryan Dahl's mastery in the 100 Butterfly and Aiden DeFrenn's swift 100 Backstroke performance further solidified Owosso's dominance in the pool.

2nd Place Finishes:

The 200 Medley Relay team, consisting of Aiden DeFrenn, Charlie Nolph, Ryan Dahl, and Jack Livingston. The 200 Free Relay team, featuring Aiden DeFrenn, Peyton Dwyer, Nick Nidiffer, and Blake Binger.  Simon Erfourth showcased versatility with stellar performances in the 200 Free and 500 Free, while Peyton Dwyer's sprint in the 50 Free and finesse in the 100 Butterfly earned him well-deserved second-place finishes. Diver Danica Dwyer executed dives, contributing to the team's overall success, and Nick Nidiffer showcased his speed in the 100 Free.

3rd Place Finishes:

The 200 Free Relay team of Jack Livingston, Matthew Shattuck, Simon Erfourth, and Tyler Jurhs, secured a commendable third place. Individual performances by Tyler Jurhs in the 200 Free, Nick Nidiffer in the 200 IM, Aiden DeFrenn in the 50 Free, Joe Kulhanek in diving, Jack Livingston in the 100 Back, and Charlie Nolph in the 100 Breaststroke, added valuable points to Owosso's overall tally.
