The Varsity Volleyball team lost it's season opener last night to a talented Goodrich team. The Trojans played well and continue to grow as a unit quickly developing young athletes like Freshman starters Kendall Ihm, Brielle Sovis and Claire Agnew to compliment a seasoned senior group. 1st year Junior Olivia Mehay is quickly developing in practice and should see action soon. The Trojans were led by Senior Captain McKenna Sovis with 2 kills, 2 blocks, 8 assists and an ace. Freshman middle hitter Kendall Ihm led the team in kills with 8 while freshman defensive specialist Brielle Sovis led the team with 7 digs.
Next up for the Trojans is a Saturday tournament at Durand High School.
