The Lady Trojans took on Goodrich this evening in the Flint Metro kick-off game. The Trojans picked up where they left off last season with a 3-0 victory (26-24, 25-19, 25-22). The Trojans had ample senior leadership from 4-year starters Peyton Spicer, Reese Thayer, and Lexi Hemker. Peyton Spicer posted 13 kills, 3 blocks, and 15 digs. Reese Thayer had 16 assists and 3 service aces while Lexi Hemker played lockdown defense with 18 digs and 2 service aces. Senior Madi Salander contributed 5 kills and freshman Ady Freeman added 4. The team is still coming together and learning with each day that passes.
