Four years ago Dr. Lintner sat with me to pitch the Volleyball Head Coach position. The one think he asked is that we close the gap between OHS and our crosstown rivals Corunna. Tonight in front of a full house the OHS ladies achieved just that by defeating Corunna to open conference play 3-1. (22-25, 25-20, 31-29, 25-22) Senior Kendall Ihm dominated with 16 kills, 1 block, 20 assists, 18 digs, and 4 aces. Junior Peyton Spicer chipped in with 6 kills, 3 blocks, 5 digs and 4 aces. Junior Reese Thayer added 24 assists and Senior Jamie Maier had 6 service aces. The Trojans are currently 8-4-4 on the season and travel to Webberville this Saturday for a tournament.
