May 4th vs. Birch Run
The Trojans dropped a close game to Birch Run in the Cat Classic Saturday morning. Aiden DeFrenn pitched a complete game, giving up 5 hits and striking out 2 batters. Carson Moore had 2 hits for the Trojans while Eden Ackley, Liam Patrick, and Santiago Aguirre all collected 1 hit each.
May 4th vs. Rogers City
The Trojans rebounded in their second game of the Cat Classic and defeated Rogers City, 6-1. Jason Beckwith started on the mound and worked 3 innings, giving up 1 run on 2 hits and striking out 3. Carson Moore finished the final 3 innings for the Trojans. Eden Ackley led the Trojans with 2 hits while Blake Binger and Austin Blaha had 1 hit each. Blaha also had 2 RBI’s for the Trojans.
