LINDEN HIGH SCHOOL: 8
Owosso fell to Linden (0-8), their toughest opponent of the season. The opponent attacked with 5-7 players every play, creating consistent combination passes. Our fullbacks and mids had their work cut out for them, but we fought hard, contesting all 26 shots. Lily Usher made 14 saves. Regardless of the score, our fullbacks played an aggressive game. Claudia Drake and Jillian Klaver continue to make crucial stops and rally their team around the box. Leah Miller, Brieanna Wood, and Alaynie Drury set the defensive tone in the midfield. Our young team continues to showcase physical play, pushing one another to their potential. Our team looks to regroup as we prepare for Monday's game against Lake Fenton.
