Owosso Girls' Soccer fell to Bath, 0-1, in a hard fought season opener. The coaching staff was impressed by the aggressive play shown by our team during the entire game. Players were consistently contesting shots and pressuring the Bath attack. The center of the field was dominated by midfielders, Sophie Brown and Leah Miller, and centerbacks, Mallory Dennis and Grace Perry. These four players set the tone for the entire game with their physical play and desire to win every ball. This is a game that could have easily ended with a different result. I am proud of our team's efforts and look forward to continued growth.
