The Owosso boy’s track and field team lost two very close meets tonight to Brandon by a score of 67-66 and to Clio by a score of 74-63. Scoring performances included:
Max Baade took 1st against Clio in the 200 m dash with a PR time of 24.29. He also took 1st against Clio and Brandon with a PR time of 54.27. He also took 1st against both teams in the pole vault with a season best height of 10’3.
Evan Hunter took 1st against Clio in the 100 m dash with a PR time of 12.31. He also took 2nd against Clio in the 200 m dash with a PR time of 24.95.
Matthew Shattuck took 3rd against Clio in the 100 m dash with a time of 12.78. He also took 3rd against Clio and Brandon in the 400 m dash with a season best time of 56.91.
Nick Nidiffer took 3rd against Clio and Brandon in the 800 m run with a time of 2:27.99.
Simon Erfourth took 1st against Brandon and 3rd against Clio with a PR time of 4:50.08. He also took 1st against Brandon and 2nd against Clio in the 3200 m run with a time of 10:52.11.
Gavin Mecomber took 1st against both teams in the 110 m hurdles with a PR time of 16.19. He also took 1st against Brandon and 2nd against Clio in the 300 m hurdles with a huge PR time of 40.70. He also took 1st in the high jump against both teams with a height of 5’8. Gavin also took 2nd in the long jump against Clio and 1st against Brandon with a jump of 18’5.
Zach Rye took 1st against both teams in the shot put with a throw of 42’1. He also took 1st against both teams in the discus with a massive PR of 142’7.
Joe Bodbyl took 2nd against both teams in the shot put and discus with PR throws of 37’7 and 111’0 respectively.
Joe Kulhanek took 3rd against Brandon in the shot put and discus with throws of 37’7 and a PR of 104’6 respectively.
Evan Hunter took 3rd against both teams in the long jump with a jump of 17’4.5.
Zander Walz took 3rd against both teams with a PR time of 20.81.
We had another solid meet with a high number of PR performances tonight. The Trojans will back in action on Friday, April 19th at Chesaning High School for the Chesaning Track and Field Classic Invite. Field events begin at 3 PM and running events will start at 4 PM.
