GOODRICH HIGH SCHOOL: 61
The Owosso Boy’s Track and Field team beat Goodrich Tuesday tonight by a score of 72-61in a Flint Metro League dual meet. We had some outstanding PR’s and one of the best finishes I’ve seen in a long time in the 4x400 m relay. Scoring performances included:
Simon Erfourth took 1st in the 800 m, 1600 m, and 3200 m runs with times of 2:15.66, 5:24.75, 11:17.58 respectively.
Gavin Mecomber took 1st in the 110 m and 300 m hurdles with times of 16.77 and 45.13. He also took 1st in the high jump and long jump with PR marks of 6’2 and 20’7.75.
Zach Rye took 1st in the shot put and discus with huge PR marks of 45’1 and 146’9.
Max Baade took 1st in the pole vault with a height of 10’0. He also took 2nd in the 400 m dash and 3rd in the 200 m dash with times of 55.23 and 24.52.
The 4x400 m relay team of Matthew Shattuck, Max Baade, Evan Hunter and Simon Erfourth took 1st with a massive PR time of 3:46.99.
Nick Nidiffer took 2nd in the 800 m run with a time of 2:18.57.
Joe Bodbyl took 2nd in the shot put and 3rd in the discus with PR’s of 39’0.5 and 115’1.
Tyler Jurhs took 3rd in the 800 m run with a time of 2:26.98.
Kai Miller took 3rd in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:29.13.
Charlie Agnew took 3rd in the 3200 m run with a time of 11:52.62.
Zander Walz took 3rd in the 110 m hurdles with a time of 22.23.
Joe Kulhanek took 3rd in the shot put with a throw of 34’5.
PR Performances included:
Evan Hunter in the 200 m dash with 24.61.
Noah Klawyun in the 200 m dash with 28.75.
Gabe Large in the shot put with 33’7.
Gavin Shafer in the shot put with 30’0.
Michael Woodworth in the shot put with 28’6.5 and discus with 67’0.
Ashton White in the shot put with 26’7.5.
Joe Kulhanek in the discus with 106’0.
Zander Walz in the high jump with 5’6.
Laneden Hawes in the long jump with 14’11.75.
Issac Jerry in the long jump with 13’10.5.
It was a great night by the boys all around. The Trojans will be back in action next Tuesday, April 30th at Lake Fenton High School.
