The Owosso boy’s track and field team took 8^th place out of 16 teams at the Chesaning Track and Field Classic with a score of 44.75 points. Scoring performances included:

Zach Rye took 2^nd in the discus with a throw of 139’1.

Gavin Mecomber took 2^nd in the 300 m hurdles with a time of 41.10, as well as 3^rd in 110 m hurdles with a PR time of 15.84. He also took 5^th in both the long jump and long jump with a PR distance of 20’5 in the long jump and a height of 5’10 in the high jump.

Simon Erfourth took 3^rd in the 3200 and 4^th in the 1600 with PR times of 10:23.05 and 4:44.51 respectively.

Max Baade took 6^th in the 400 m dash with a PR time of 54.16 and also took 7^th in the pole vault with a height of 9’6.

PR performances included:

Evan Hunter in the 100 m dash with a time of 11.99.

Matthew Shattuck in the 100 m dash with a time of 12.17.

Tyler Jurhs in the 800 m run with a time of 2:21.22.

Kai Miller in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:21.24.

Charlie Agnew in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:25.51.

Joe Bodbyl in the shot put with a throw of 38’6 as well as the discus with a throw of 113’3.

Zander Walz in the high jump with a height of 5’2.

The Trojans will be competing at Goodrich High School in a FML dual meet next Tuesday, 4-23. Field events will begin at 4 PM and running events at 4:30.
