Girls' Varsity Track vs. Clio and Lake Fenton

Game Date
Apr 18, 2023

Owosso girls' track and field beat both Clio and Lake Fenton on Tuesday in a double dual meet at Clio. On a cold, mostly windy day, the Trojans brought their very best to defeat both opponents and move to 3-0 in the conference with Brandon and defending champ Goodrich to go. Scores were Owosso 79 Clio 58 and Owosso 79 Lake Fenton 57.

As the meet was a double dual, athletes could have finished 3rd behind two Clio athletes, but still finished 1st in the meet against Lake Fenton for example. We had several first place finishes during the meet. The athlete with the most 1st place finishes was Peyton Spicer who continued her winning ways, despite being a bit banged up. Peyton was able to win 3 events against both teams, racking up a total of 30 points on the day.
