Our girls picked up where they left off last season with an 87-50 win over rival Corunna. We had many standout performances during the evening, paving the way for what is sure to be a phenomenal season. 

Senior captain Libby Summerland earned 20 of the team's point by herself as she won 4 individual events (pole vault, 100m, 200m, and 400m).

Senior captain Peyton Spicer won both high jump and long jump, while taking 2nd in shot put as well as discus.

Gabi Hufnagel had a great meet as well by winning both the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles as well as leading off in the winning 4x400m relay team (along with teammates Isabel Root, Josie Jenkinson, and Skotti Ball-Duley).

Speaking of Skotti, she made her high school track debut with wins in the 800, 4x400m relay, and 4x800m relay (with teammates Julionna West, Josie Jenkinson, and Emma Crandell).

Desiree Mofield showed off her much improved discus throw with a nice PR and a first place finish to go along with her 1st place finish in shot put.

Isabel Root finished 2nd in both high jump (with a PR jump of 4'8") and pole vault to go along with her team win in the 4x400m relay

Kyle Bermudez earned a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 100m hurdles as well as long jump. 

Julionna West not only was a part of the 1st place 4x800 team, she also took 2nd in the 1600m and 3rd in the 800m.

Josie Jenkinson a part of both of the winning 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams.
