The Owosso boys track and field team competed at the Fowler Under the Lights Invitational and placed 10^th out of 14 teams competing. Scoring performances included:

Tyler Hufnagel took 1^st place in both the 110 and 300 m hurdles once again with SR times of 16.04 and 41.40.

Simon Erfourth took 5^th place in the 3200 m run and 7^th place in the 1600 m run with a PR time of 10:38.98 and SR time of 4:58.91.  

Gavin Fedewa took 7^th place in the pole vault with a PR height of 10’0.

Max Baade took 8^th place in the pole vault with a height of 10’0.

The 4x100 relay team took 7^th place with a SR time of 47.71.

Other PR performances included:

Zach Wieler in the 200 m dash with a time of 26.09.

Anton English the 200 m dash with a time of 26.45.

Matthew Shattuck in the 400 m dash with a time of 56.77.

Clayton Brown in the 400 m dash with a time of 58.64 and also in the 800 m run with a time of 2:19.88.

Nick Nidiffer in the 800 m run with a time of 2:26.58 and also in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:32.36.

Tyler Jurhs in the 800 m run with a time of 2:33.98.

Corey Gates in the 3200 m run with a time of 11:27.26 and also in the 300 m hurdles with a time of 51.71.

Charlie Agnew in the 3200 m run with a time of 12:44.13.

Zach Rye in the discus with a throw of 104’11 and in the shot put with a throw of 37’1.

As you can see, we had a lot of good performances last night on a great day to compete. The boys will be back on the track next Tuesday, April 18^th at Clio HS against Clio and Lake Fenton. The field events will start at 4 PM.
