The Owosso boys track and field team placed 11^th overall and 6^th in the Large School division at the Chesaning Track and Field Classic on Friday night. Scoring performances included:

Tyler Hufnagel took 1^st in the division and 2^nd overall in the 110 m hurdles with a PR time of 15.78. He also took 4^th in the division and 5^th overall in the 300 m hurdles with a time of 43.88.

Gavin Fedewa took 3^rd in the division and 12^th overall in the pole vault with a height of 9’6.

Gavin Mecomber took 4^th in the division and 5^th overall in the long jump with a jump of 19’11.5.

Max Baade took 4^th in the division and 9^th overall in the 400 m dash with a PR time of 55.05.

PR performances included:

Isaac Williams in the 100 m dash with a time of 12.28.

Anton English in the 200 m dash with a time of 26.29.

Nick Nidiffer in the 800 m and 1600 m runs with times of 2:24.00 and 5:21.66.

Ethan Read in the 800 m run with a time of 2:30.92.

Tyler Jurhs in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:36.88.

Charlie Agnew in the 3200 m run with a time of 12:24.79.

Corey Gates in the 300 m hurdles with a time of 47.55.

Gavin Mecomber in the shot put with a throw 41’0.

Joe Kulhanek in the shot put with a throw of 37’8.5.

Joe Bodbyl in the discus with a throw 94’10.

There was a lot of really good competition at the meet and we had lot of PRs and good performances. The Trojans will be back in action Tuesday, April 25^th at 4:00 PM at Brandon High School in a FML dual meet.
