Owosso XC competed in the first of 3 Flint Metro League Jamboree on Wednesday evening. All 12 FML schools competed in a single race worth 25% of the season's standings. Owosso was able to finish in 2nd behind Goodrich, which we were very happy about. Linden finished 9 points behind Owosso for 3rd place. 

On a day where virtually everyone's times were slower than usual due to the heat and course conditions, our athletes still managed great performances. Leading the way was senior captain Libby Summerland, who despite coming off sickness and a back issue, was able to run masterful race, finishing in 5th place overall. Next in was Emma Crandell, who came through in 8th place. Julionna West came in 16th for the Trojans, followed by Josie Jenkinson, who made her season debut by finishing 18th. Natalie Summerland took the 25th spot and Skotti Ball-Duley finished 37th. When considering there were 126 girls who competed between varsity and JV, having all 6 of our girls on the top 40 is pretty amazing!
