After a two and a half week break from racing, Owosso cross country jumped back into action in the second of three Flint Metro League jamborees, finishing 2nd again out of 12 teams.

Today we witnessed the comeback of Josie Jenkinson. Josie, who has been battling injuries for the better part of 2 years, overcame her setbacks and was able to earn a 7th place overall finish, first for Owosso. She is now the third Owosso athlete to pace the team in a meet this season, demonstrating the depth we have at the top. Libby Summerland came in next for Owosso with a 9th place finish, followed by Emma Crandell in 10th. Four places later was Julionna West. Finishing in 26th for Owosso was Natalie Summerland, followed by Skotti Ball-Duley in 37th. 

With 1 more FML jamboree left in three weeks, we will look to secure our 2nd place league finish and close the gap between us and Goodrich as we inch closer to the postseason. This Saturday we will be back in action at the Shepherd Invite where we will take on a stacked field.
